The Intimacy Wellness Guide

A composed, body-positive reference for thinking about intimacy wellness — what it is, how products fit, and when to ask for help.

Intimacy wellness sits at the meeting point of physical comfort, body-safe products, and considered routines. It is not a single product category — it is a way of thinking about care that runs through lubricants, applicators, topical enhancers, and the habits around them. This guide brings that thinking together.

What we mean by intimacy wellness

Wellness, in this context, has three parts: products made from body-safe materials, routines that fit your actual life, and clear information you can act on. Marketing language in this category is often loud and oversimplified. We try to keep ours calm and specific.

The product landscape

Personal lubricants

The foundation of most routines. Lubricants reduce friction, support moisture, and make every other product more comfortable. See our complete lubricant guide for the full breakdown of water-based vs silicone-based vs hybrid formulas.

Applicators

Small reusable tools that make lubricant application cleaner, more precise, and less wasteful. Our three colorways — blue & black, blue & blue, and red & gray — are designed around easy cleaning and a 10ml scale. See our applicator guide for details.

Topical intimacy care

Sprays, gels, and sleeves designed for specific use cases. Our ANGCURE Intimacy Stimulant Set pairs a spray (30ml) with a complementary gel (30ml) — a paired routine rather than a single-use product. Our ANGCURE Intimacy Sleeve is a soft, body-safe extension designed for comfortable wear.

Body-safe materials: the short version

Body-safe is not a marketing word — it points to specific material classes. For lubricants, look for simple ingredient lists with body-safe glycerin and conditioning agents. For toys and sleeves, look for medical-grade silicone or TPE. Avoid products with strong fragrances, undisclosed additives, or materials that degrade over time.

If you want to go deeper, our article on body-safe materials in intimacy products breaks down what each common material actually is and how to evaluate it.

Building a simple routine

A practical intimacy wellness routine often has three pieces:

  1. A lubricant you trust — usually silicone-based for longevity or water-based for everyday comfort.
  2. An applicator — only if your routine calls for one. Skip otherwise.
  3. A topical product for specific moments — such as a stimulant spray for partnered use.

You do not need everything. Most people use one or two products regularly and add a third for specific occasions.

Hygiene and cleaning

Cleanliness is the single highest-leverage habit. Wash reusable applicators and toys with warm water and mild soap after each use, let them air-dry fully, and store them somewhere dry. Replace anything that shows visible wear, surface changes, or has passed its stated lifespan.

When to talk to a clinician

Products address comfort and routine. They do not address underlying concerns. Talk to a clinician if you experience persistent discomfort, sudden changes in sensation, pain, irritation that does not resolve after stopping product use, or any signs of infection. Products complement clinical care — they do not replace it.

Discretion and privacy

Wellness products are personal. Our shipping is plain — no branding on the outside, no indication of contents. Read more about how we handle discreet shipping for wellness orders.

Where to begin

If you are new to ANGCURE, two good starting points are the Intimacy Stimulant Set (paired spray + gel) or a single ANGCURE silicone lubricant. Both are body-safe, considered, and easy to integrate into an existing routine.
